Poznajcie gwiazdę Bydgoskich Fabryk Mebli w wersji sote. Z reguły występuje w towarzystwie gigantycznej nadstawki z półeczkami, na szczęście w pełni odczepialnej. Mam ją w garażu, być może kiedyś trafi gdzieś wyżej w hierarchii.
Te meble, dzięki temu, że pokryto je chemoutwardzalnym lakierem, są niezniszczalne. Okaz który do mnie trafił był w świetnym stanie i początkowo rozważałam nawet, czy nie zostawić jej tak jak jest. Jednak ten wysoki połysk i chęć zrobienia z niej czegoś innego zwyciężyły. Zabrałam się za usuwanie lakieru i to był początek greckiej tragedii.
O szczegółach tej dramatycznej walki piszę w innym poście, gdzie pokazuję Wam czego NIE NALEŻY ROBIĆ, tu wspomnę jedynie o przyjemnej części wykończenia.
Jak odnowić komodę prl przy użyciu szablonów do mebli?
Dlaczego pomalowałam część frontów? Odpowiedź znajduje się w poście o ściąganiu lakieru. A skoro farba to i szablon, który i w tym przypadku zrobiłam sama. To motyw w jodełkę, albo zwany także herringbone pattern. Dla nieobsługujących programów graficznych – w wordzie robisz tabelę, której komórki i kolumny odpowiadają szerokości i wysokości wzoru.Następnie wstawiasz ukośne linie w każdą komórkę. Drukujesz, wycinasz.

Można zadać sobie pytanie, czy warto? Komoda kosztowała mnie 300 zł, do tego bejca (ok 20 zł), wosk (ok 60 zł), farby (ok 20 zł) i uchwyty ze śrubami (ok 40 zł). W sumie max 450 zł. Oczywiście sama renowacja to wysiłek na co najmniej 4 dni, ale teraz jak na nią patrzę to mam satysfakcję i rozglądam się za kolejna ofiarą:). Biurko dla 9-latki, fotele, nowe stoliki nocne…

Właśnie się zabrałam za swoją szafkę i zastanawiam się czy bejcować, czy woskować. Nie woskowałam jeszcze nigdy nic, ale z tego co czytam rozumiem, że wosk podbija naturalny kolor drewna, tak? Bo moje po przetarciu wilgotną szmatką jest lekko czerwonawe, chciałabym się tego efektu pozbyć. Czyli ani lakier, ani wosk, a lepiej bejca, prawda?

Ja odnawiałam dokładnie taki sam, tyle, że dałam 150zł za cały komplet (3 komody + dwie nadstawki), z kompletu wykorzystałam jednak jedynie dwie komody, bo to ich potrzebowałam, ale ktoś chciał się pozbyć całości. Jedna komoda to właśnie ta ze zdjęcia, druga jest węższa, wyższa, ma 4 szuflady i jedne drzwiczki.
Wstawiliśmy prowadnice do drzwi suwanych, zamontowaliśmy prowadnice do szuflad. Całość pomalowałam na biało, nóżki zostały drewniane, zabejcowane, uchwyty wykorzystaliśmy oryginalne, malując je na czarno (aczkolwiek uchwyty mieliśmy inne, niż te na Twojej komodzie, takie zwyczajne, tradycyjne jak niemalże w każdym meblu z okresu PRL).
Tak, wiem, biały nuda 🙂 Ale u mnie w rodzinnym domu zawsze były białe meble, białe ściany, jak poszłam na swoje, to 'na złość' zrobiłam kolorowe ściany, ciemne, drewniane meble… i po 2-3 latach wróciłam do tej 'znienawidzonej' bieli, którą dopiero na swoim doceniłam, polubiłam, a wręcz pokochałam (i nie miało to nic wspólnego z powszechnie panującą teraz modą).
Obecnie baaardzo żałuję, że w drugiej komodzie nie zamontowaliśmy prowadnic do szuflad, tylko zostawiliśmy oryginalne mocowania – nie ma porównania w komforcie użytkowania.
u mnie szuflady chodzą nie najgorzej, ale prowadnice to na pewno wyższy komfort. Białe meble są fajne, wielu krzywi się na różnych forach, ale tak naprawdę niewiele jest kolorów, które na duże meble pasują i co najważniejsze – po latach wciąż nam się podobają, a mody na kolory i wzory przemijają. Jak ktoś chce drewniane klasyczne to proszę, a jak ktoś chce białe – też ok. Ma pasować do ciebie, domu – nie robimy tego dla innych. Chętnie zobaczę fotkę:) pozdrawiam ! A o prowadnicach zasiałaś mi ziarno – pomyślę nad ich wymianą. Acha, a jaką farba malowałaś ten lakier?

Prowadnice fajna sprawa, ale żeby np. wstawić te do szuflad, to musieliśmy troszkę przesunąć ściankę działową.
ok, zrobiłam fotkę, od razu przepraszam za jakość i słaby kadr, ale mam obecnie obiektyw portretowy i mimo, że pokój duży, to z jego przeciwległego końca i tak cała komoda nie mieści się w kadrze. Co najśmieszniejsze – bejcę dobieraliśmy do koloru paneli i w rzeczywistości dużo bardziej nogi szafki z nimi grają, nie wiem skąd taka znacząca różnica na zdjęciu, bo nogi są dokładnie w tym kolorze, co słoje na panelach 🙂

Dzień dobry, a ja mam pytanie trochę z innej beczki (: komoda tak piękna że tez takiej szukam, ale jedna rzecz mnie jeszcze ciekawi, czy w komodzie można zrobić barek? tzn. czy za tymi przesuwanymi drzwiczkami po wyjęciu półeczki zmieszczą się butelki, max w wysokości butelki 1,5 litrowej wody? nie mam za bardzo miejsca w mieszkaniu a komoda na tyle długa, że zmieściłby się dekoder i z boku właśnie ten barek, właśnie jeżeli się zmieszczą butelki /: z góry dziękuje za odpowiedź.

Hej. Ja mam bardzo podobną szafkę. Zawsze marzyłam o tym by ją przerobić. Gdy się do tego zabrałam to myślałam, że lakier mnie pokona. Nie poddałam się i wyszło tak Zdjęcia . 🙂
Witam! Nie wiedziałam gdzie to napisać więc piszę tutaj. Dostałam w spadku piękną komódkę, jest ona w stanie idealnym, lakier przepięknie się błyszczy. Nie chciałam nic z nią robić, ale jest jeden problem, jak dla mnie dość spory. Komoda miała nadstawkę, po jej zdjęciu okazało się, że blat jest łączony z dwóch różnych kolorów drewna, część wystająca spod nadstawki jest pięknego orzechowego koloru, takiego jak reszta mebla, a część pod nadstawką jest coś a la sosna, całość jest polakierowana na wysoki połysk. Pewnie stwierdzili, że i tak tego nie będzie widać bo nadstawka to zakryje. Problem polega na tym że mi się ta nadstawka nie podoba a komoda z takim połatanym blatem też nie, wygląda to koszmarnie. Co robić? Nie znam się na zdejmowaniu lakieru z takiej komody, nie chce jej uszkodzić. Myślałam o naklejeniu jakiejś białej tapety na tę część, nóżki też są białe więc jakoś może by to pasowało. Bardzo proszę o rade bo, nie ukrywam, że jestem załamana. Pozdrawiam Mirka

Ale tak na szybko – może pani zmienić wygląd całego blatu malując go farbą o wysokiej przyczepności, więc lakieru nie trzeba będzie ściągać tylko zmatowić. po drugie można tą część sosnową jakoś kolorem potraktować ale tu trzeba byłoby to sobie jakoś zamarkować i zobaczyć czy spodoba nam się mieszanie koloru z fornirem. Można np. zrobić wstawkę z farby w różnym formacie, bawiąc się konwencją albo nawiązując do jakiego motywu z komody – prosze o zdjęcie, sama jestem ciekawa!

Mam inne pytanie, jako, że teraz w sklepach większość mebli jest jednak w nowoczesnej formie i chyba nie będą pasowały do salonu z taką komodą, jakie Pani ma meble w tym samym pokoju co komoda? Kanapę i fotele mamy trochę w stylu retro, w bardzo prostej formie, ale nie mam pomysłu na resztę mebli, a chciałabym jakiś regał na książki, jakieś szafki itp. I jeszcze jedno pytanie, czy farby do malowania musza być jakieś specjalne? Którą firmę by Pani poleciła? Czy sama bejca wystarczy, żeby zabezpieczyć i wygładzić powierzchnie, których nie będziemy malować farbą? Na blacie trochę nam się pozdzierało też tego, co jest pod spodem tej połyskliwej warstwy i powierzchnia jest nieco chropowata, zastanawiam się czy po oszlifowaniu ręcznym sama bejca na to wystarczy czy może jakiś lakier lub wosk?
ja też mam parę ubytków w fornirze na skutek zdzierania, ale je zostawiłam, zabejcowałam i pokryłam woskiem. Co do bejcy – polecam nakładanie szmatką – takie wcieranie, najlepiej 2-3 warstwy. Wosk także szmatką. Farby – ja używałam akrylowych i nie pamiętam teraz, których, ale używam różnych: beckersa, duluxa, śnieżkę, decorala, luxensa, fluggera. Najbardziej lubię tego ostatniego, jednak spokojnie można używać tych które wymieniłam, warto zwracać uwage na wykończenie – czy mat czy satyna czy połysk. Kolory – tu często korzystam z farb akrylowych w tubkach albo z barwników, nie kupuje litrowych puszek chyba ze taki jest cel – zmienić kolor dużej powierzchni.

przekopałam Pani bloga, przeczytałam posty na temat odnawiania mebli PRL-owskich i myślałam, że nie popełnię żadnego błędu przy odnawianiu biblioteczki. A jednak – w robieniu błędów jestem niezawodna 😉 Na koniec zostawiłam sobie wymianę uchwytów, ale nigdzie nie mogę trafić na uchwyty o rozstawie śrub 50 mm. Aż się zastanawiam, czy moda na uchwyty ze skórzanych pasków nie powstała trochę z przymusu, bo niczego innego w tym wymiarze nie ma… a jak wiadomo potrzeba matką wynalazku 😉 A może tylko ja nie potrafię znaleźć? Orientuje się Pani czy można gdzieś dostać uchwyty do szuflad na te nietypowe 50 mm? Pozdrawiam serdeczne 🙂

Dzień dobry, rownież odnawiałam stare meble i była Pani dla mnie wielką inspiracją. Efekt mnie zadawala, niestety trwałość tych farb akrylowych nie jest zbyt duża. Ja korzystałam z Altaxu. Czy zabezpieczała Pani może jakoś dodatkowo pomalowane elementy lakierem? Zamieszczam zdjecia mojej metamorfozy
Odnowiłam komode, miał zostać naturalny fornir orzecha, zabezpieczony woskiem. Niestety pojawił się problem i teraz nie bardzo wiem jak wybrnąć. W niektórych miejscach było bardzo ciężko zedrzec lakier.. Mocniejsze przeszlifowanie tych miejc skutkowało przedostaniem się pod warstwę bejcy. I połowa powierzchni drzwiczek jest bledsza. zdzierać całość do końca? czy pokryć farba? Co Pani doradzi?
I jeszcze jedno. Wszystkie obrzeża są do wymiany. Pod wpływem opalarki zaczęły się odklejać, inne były uszkodzone. Chciałam zerwać i przykleić nowe ale teraz obawiam się czy podczas przyklejania na gorąco zelazkiem nie zacznie odchodzić fornir przy brzegach.. noni szerokość- potrzebuje 20mm A wszędzie dostępne są 22mm. I jak tu wybrnąć.. komoda stoi w salonie i straszy A ja nie wiem co dalej…
chyba spróbowałabym nakleić to większe obrzeże, na równo z górną krawędzią, a potem odcinać wystające 2 mm. Gdyby nie wyszło to zawsze można zamalować, np. zrobić ciemny rant dookoła fornirowanego frontu. Spróbuj na małym kawałku jak idzie takie docinanie
można spróbować wyrównać kolor bejcą, zależy jak duży jest kontrast, ale czasami 2-3 warstwy wyrównują tego typu przetarcia, możesz podesłąć zdjęcia na maila 🙂

to jest rysunek zrobiony z szablonu, który sama zrobiłam i wyciełam. Szablon zrobiony w wordzie 🙂 wydrukowany na zwykłym papierze. Kluczem sukcesu jest dobranie ilości farby podczas aplikacji szablonu na froncie – trzeba dobrze tapować gąbką żeby pozbyć się nadmiaru farby i dopiero odciskać na szablonie
Zniszczyła Pani piękny mebel. Efekt końcowy jest fatalny. To co Pani robi z meblami to zbrodnia.
to tylko stary mebel z lat 70 który nie jest antykiem i został zmieniony zgodnie z moją osobistą estetyką. Myślę że słowo zbrodnia nie jest tu adekwatne, po co takie Wielkie Słowa? Będąc w żargonie prawniczym i przebijając trochę tą bańkę ze świętym oburzeniem dodam że – owszem i to popełniona z premedytacją, i najprawdopodobniej grozi mi recydywa 🙂 pozdrawiam i życzę dystansu. Oraz tolerancji.

trzeba poszukać lakieru w wysokim połysku, najlepiej poliureatnowe bo to one dają największy połysk. Uzyskanie w warunkach domowych wysokiego połysku jest bardzo trudne – za dawnych lat stosowano lakier chemoutwardzalny, dziś wycofany z produkcji. Lakier w połysku najlepiej aplikować natryskowo, polerować między wartwami – tak mówi teoria, ja w praktyce z tym niegdy nie działałam.
Witam, mam pytanie jakiego wosku użyłaś i jakiej firmy ? Mega metamorfoza mebla i bardzo ładny kolor uzyskałaś po renowacji.
